Yuetiva Robles – Paper Spotlight

Yuetiva Robles, a postdoc in the Bendlin Lab, was chosen for an interview by the American Society of Human Genetics in regards to her new article published in Science Translational Medicine this past August.

Her research investigated the relationship between expression of specific codons in the MS4A gene region and subsequent soluble TREM2 concentrations in cerebrospinal fluid. She found that genes in the MS4A region modulate the production of sTREM2, indicating it’s potential as a genetic marker of AD and AD pathology.
